I joined Maidu Dental in August 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in the dental field. As a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions Level 2 (RDAEF2), I’m able to perform a wide range of advanced clinical procedures that help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. From placing and contouring restorations to taking final impressions and assisting with complex treatments, I take pride in delivering precise, high-quality care. I began my dental career in 2012 and earned my RDAEF2 certification in 2023 to expand my skills and make an even greater impact on my patients’ oral health.

My favorite part of being an RDAEF2 is transforming smiles and seeing the joy on my patients’ faces when treatment is complete. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my work helps restore both function and confidence. I truly love working at Maidu Dental—our doctors and team feel like family. Everyone is so caring, thoughtful, and dedicated, and from my very first day, I felt right at home.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our three dogs. We love camping anywhere from the mountains to the desert, going on Harley rides, and spending time with family and friends. In the summer, you’ll often find me at the lake, and in the winter—my favorite season—I love snowboarding, cozying up by the fire, watching Hallmark movies, and making s’mores.

My journey in the dental field began in 2013, leading me to dental hygiene school in Palo Alto. Originally from the Bay Area, I moved to the Auburn area five years ago to embrace its small-town charm and be closer to nature. What I find most fulfilling about my job is the opportunity to connect with patients. Building relationships is a joy, and I love when patients share pictures of their pets or family. One of the highlights of working at Maidu Dental is the sense of unity within the team. Despite our different roles, everyone is always ready to offer help and advice, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Beyond the dental office, I recently celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary and am the proud parent of a two-year-old son. In my free time, I enjoy activities like boxing, occasional rock climbing, paddleboarding, and reading. I see the Auburn area as the ideal place to raise a family, offering that small-town feel depicted in movies. My love for the community and commitment to my family make me an invaluable part of Maidu Dental.

I have been working in the dental industry since 1982. I began my career in a dental office in the Bay Area where I spent 26 years as a front office lead. I feel blessed to have found such a warm team at Maidu Dental that cares about each other and our patients. I enjoy being a part of a team that values and trusts each other and works together to put the patient and their needs first. One of the perks of the job is interacting with each of the patients and seeing their healthy, happy smiles. Having worked as a front office lead in dental offices for over 35 years, one of my favorite things includes building a strong bond with my team and each of the patients – it’s why I love coming to work every day.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a husband of 30+ years, three children, and three grandchildren, who are the loves of my life. My husband and I love to go kayaking and on daily walks together with our yellow lab Cooper – but most of all we love being Grandma and Grandpa.

My 25-year dental career began in the Sacramento City College dental program. I have been able to do volunteer work in and out of the country and, now, work with the team at Maidu Dental! I love the caring, collaborative atmosphere that has been created here. The doctors and their team are extremely hard-working and knowledgeable.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, I assist the doctor, take care of the patients, fabricate temporary crowns, and design new crowns using our 3D CAD-CAM amazing technology. My favorite part is to help calm nervous and anxious patients by getting to know them and making them feel at ease. One way I do this is by using our high-tech advanced technology to make their treatment easier and more convenient.

I am originally from Romania and have a very big family that I love to travel with. I love eating and cooking different international cuisines.  I also volunteer with my church and other organizations and really love animals and children.

After years of watching my father as a Dentist grow a practice, I was able to spend a lot of time getting to know the dental field. It was at The Fade Institute in El Dorado Hills where I became a Registered Dental Assistant and in 2018, I started my dental career. I then went back to school at The FADE Institute and I got certified as A Extended Functions Assistant II.

The best part of my job is feeling accomplished at the end of the day, and knowing that maybe even the smallest, good experience may be a big impact on someone’s day. We work with many people who have a fear of the dentist, and I feel great knowing that the team at Maidu Dental offers a calm, safe place for people to feel at ease when going through treatment. It is heartwarming to hear that we’ve made a difference to them.

Our team is so passionate and caring about people’s dental needs! Dr. Markham and my teammates are pursuing perfection and safety always while having a great time getting to know our patients in the process.

I’ve lived in Northern California my whole life! Outdoors is where I love to be with my boyfriend and two mini dachshunds, Scully and Phoebe. Usually, you can find us out kayaking, 4 wheelings, hiking, wakeboarding, or anything out on the water.

My journey in the dental world began back in 2015, and ever since, I've been passionate about ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit. From scheduling appointments to explaining procedures in a way that's easy to understand, I'm here to make your experience as smooth as possible.

With experience in both clinical and administrative roles, I've had the opportunity to learn from top-trained dentists, allowing me to better support our patients every step of the way.

What I love most about my job is the chance to help patients feel at ease. Dental visits can be daunting, so I take pride in offering support and education to make the experience feel effortless.

Working alongside Dr. Markham and the rest of the team is truly inspiring. The team dedication to patient care is unmatched, and I trust that every patient will be treated like family here at Maidu Dental.

Outside of work, I'm a proud fiancé and parent to two wonderful kids. Our home is filled with the love of our furry and feathered friends - dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. When I'm not at the office, you'll often find me riding my horse, Peach, or enjoying quality time with my family.
